Michael Lindberg

Advanced Graduate Intern

Michael offers services at $50/hour.

Michael is an advanced graduate intern from Concordia University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. He brings a warm and client-centered approach to therapy using strengths-based cognitive behavioral approaches as a basis to support clients in bringing understanding, compassion, and confidence into their healing.

Michael has a sports psychology minor and, as a collegiate soccer player, enjoys working with athletes navigating the demands and stressors often associated with the world of competitive sports. He uses his training in Gottman Couples Therapy to support couples in reconnecting and rebuilding trust and friendship after distance and misunderstandings have become the norm. Michael also enjoys and has experience working with adolescents, and uses his training in family systems to work with them and their parents to increase effective communication and decrease problematic behaviors.
